Privacy Policy
Short version: you can use the tool with no login — you get an anonymous identifier in your browser that scopes your projects. To download the finished email HTML you sign in with GitHub or Google, which shares your email address with us. We don’t sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect today
- An anonymous browser identifier. On first use we store a random ID (a cookie,
se_owner_id, on the site domain) so your generated projects stay attached to your browser. It contains no name or email — losing it simply orphans your projects. - The URL you submit and what we read from it. To brand your emails we fetch your site and extract branding — colors, fonts, logo, tone — and the generated templates. This is stored so you can return to and re-edit your projects.
- Your email address, when you sign in to download. Using the tool needs no login, but downloading the finished email HTML (a single file or a ZIP of all 13) requires signing in with GitHub or Google. Through that OAuth sign-in we receive your email address, which we use to authenticate you and tie your downloads to your account. We don’t receive your password.
Cookies & analytics
We use the se_owner_id cookie described above (functional, required to keep your projects). For product analytics we use PostHog, a privacy-conscious analytics tool; it helps us understand how the tool is used so we can improve it.
Your rights & data deletion
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. To delete your projects, use the delete action in the tool, or email privacy@emailsforsupabase.com and we’ll remove the data tied to your identifier.
GDPR posture
We (EDMdesigner.com Kft.) operate from the EU (Hungary). Our lawful basis for the processing above is legitimate interest in providing the tool you asked for and our contract with you when you use it. For requests or complaints, contact privacy@emailsforsupabase.com.
